Dubai Design District, known as d3, is a TECOM Group free zone set up in 2013 for design, fashion and culture, from start-ups to international brands. Its first phase, 11 office buildings with shops and studios, was finished in the mid-2010s, and the district also has hotels, homes, restaurants and cafes. Each November it hosts Dubai Design Week.
